Understand the Risks
There are three new gas projects we are working to stop (see map):
- Fracking in the Beetaloo Basin
- Santos’ plans for massive expansions of offshore gas mining, and
- A proposed gas-processing and petrochemicals hub at Middle Arm in Darwin Harbour
Each of these projects would create massive amounts of greenhouse gas emissions, as well as posing a range of unique threats to local ecosystems, First Nations cultural heritage and human health.
